Situated within the quiet and historic heart of Gordons Bay, the house offers a large open-plan kitchen, living area, and deck facing onto glorious sea and mountain views. Enjoy spectacular sunsets and the constant, relaxing sound of the ocean which laps onto the closest swimming beach, just 50 metres away.
The living area features sliding doors and windows which have retractable solar blinds. These blinds cut out excessive heat and glare in summer, without impeding the view, and retains the house's north-facing warmth in winter thus ensuring sustainable energy usage.
Two of the three bedrooms have sea views, and the house uses a solar geyser with electrical backup if required. Also included is a TV room with DStv connection that is viewable from the kitchen (please bring your own decoder, card and remote).
The house is on three levels with stairs, and the deck is about 6 metres from the ground, therefore it is not suitable for guests with walking disabilities or for small children. There is a separate gas geyser installed to serve the en-suite bathroom if needed. A gas-top stove has also been installed in the kitchen to avoid any inconvenience when power outages occur.
We have also recently installed an air conditioner along with a Solar system. We are now" OFF THE GRID" and not affected by loadshedding. All the more reason to make your booking with us.
Please note that we have a minimum booking period of two nights. Not for parties nor an entertainment venue.

★★★★★ What an absolute pleasure to be staying in this house! The owner was very friendly and helpful and everything worked just fine. Excellent view of False Bay and superb location for day trips to Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Cape Town and all the other places. Will definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone!
